It is a rare three-story Kominka that attracts the eye with its grandeur, combined with the warehouses and living rooms connected to either side of it. The white shutters and plaster walls give it a unique appearance that somewhat resembles a castle facility. The spacious attic storage areas on the second and third floors, as well as the adjacent warehouse, are remnants of the once-thriving sericulture industry in the area, which boasted one of the largest scales in Japan.
