Shimizu-dani Kominka
Takatori Town, Nara Pref.
Takatori Town is located in the southern part of the Nara Basin, an ancient capital of Japan. This Kominka is located on the outskirts of the old castle town of Takatori Castle. While preserving its traditional charm, new Tatami mats have been installed in recent years. In addition, a detached room with a traditional interior has been added, making it possible for different generations to live together or use as a guest room. The national highway in front of the house connects Asuka, a treasure trove of ancient ruins, and the center of Nara to the north, Yoshino, famous for its cherry blossoms. The center of Nara and Osaka, and Kansai International Airport are all just over an hour away by car.
