Iuka Minka
Gose City, Nara Pref.
Katsuragi, located in the southwestern part of the Nara Basin, is a corridor area nestled at the foot of the mountains, connecting Nara and Wakayama. This unique Minka, with its retro storefront, is situated in the middle of the corridor known as Iuka. While a major national highway runs in front of the house, it’s surrounded by terraced rice paddies with stunning views of Mount Kongo. On the first floor, the house features two separate former shops: one was a barbershop catering to men, and the other was serving women. The house is about an hour's drive from Nara, Wakayama, Osaka, and Kansai International Airport. Additionally, there’s a hot spring facility right in front of the property. This makes it an ideal location for anyone looking to start a small business in the Japanese countryside.
