Kusama Kominka
Nakano City, Nagano Pref.
It is a Kominka built in 1924 with a red metal roof covering an old-style thatched roof. It is the largest in the village, and its location on the plateau, which is advantageous in terms of flood damage and security measures. The house stands like a fortress, embraced by towering zelkova trees and sturdy stone-paved walls, exuding a sense of strength and tranquility. The large site leading from the main road is home to the main house and several other buildings of various uses. There are also many hot springs, campgrounds, and ski resorts in the vicinity, making it a great place for leisure activities. From here, you are a 30-minute drive to Nagano Shinkansen Station, from which it takes only 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Tokyo station.
