Kiryu Kominka
Iga City, Mie Pref.
Kiryu, Iga City is located in the mountains of the Kinki region, near the location of Japan's ancient capital. The area, known as the Aoyama Plateau, is famous as one of the Kinki region's leading summer retreats. Kiryu itself, which is believed to be the origin of the word “where fog is born” is also located in a high and dry ground area rich in nature at an altitude of more than 400 meters above sea level. This Kominka has a large, richly planted garden, and the Kawakami River, which flows from the resort area, borders the back of the property, offering a varied view of the clear water flowing down among the rocks.
