About a 1 hour drive from downtown Kyoto, this Kominka was renovated back in 2011 and is still in livable condition. The layout of this Kominka remains unchanged with 4 Tatami rooms at the center and kitchen area (earthen floor) on the side. Besides the main house, there is also a kura storage, a small shed, and a well that was used in the past. Additional forest land and farmland is also available for purchase.
