Taiza Minka
Kyotango City, Kyoto Pref.
Taiza of Kyotango city is a port town on the Sea of Japan coast, located about a two-hour drive from downtown Kyoto city. It is famous for its crystal-clear waters and delicious brand crabs. It is also a scenic spot blessed with beautiful sandy beaches and oddly shaped rocks, befitting its location in the eastern part of San'in Geopark. Taiza is a charming town, known for its distinctive wooden-walled houses typical of the San'in region, which line its narrow alleys. The area is filled with ryokan inns, restaurants, and shops catering to tourists. This minka, with its three separate units—each equipped with its own kitchen and bathroom—along with numerous rooms and a sea-facing terrace, would be well-suited for use as a vacation home or a guesthouse for tourists.
