Ogaki Kominka
Noto Town, Ishikawa Pref.
Noto Town is a calm seaside district facing Toyama Bay on the east side of the peninsula, and is also a rare place in Japan where you can see the snow-covered peaks of the 3,000-meter-class Japanese Alps across the bay. This magnificent traditional Kominka, featuring a spacious irori room (hearth), is located in a mountain valley but is also close to the sea, allowing you to enjoy the charm of both landscapes. This house has numerous rooms and updated facilities. It is in livable condition despite the recent Noto earthquake. Noto Airport is a 25-minute drive away, and Kanazawa Shinkansen station can be reached in 2 hours.
