Igawamachi Kominka

Built in the first year of Meiji era, this 153 year old Kominka with almost 4,000 sqm of land and total of 15 rooms used to be the residence of the village headman. Despite being right by the main road, you can hardly notice its existence as the the house is surrounded by trees and bushes. On the back of the house is a bamboo forest, and south of the house is a sizable pond. As the property is located at the Noto Peninsula, you have quick access to Toyama bay well known for its bounty of incredibly fresh and delicious seafood.
