Azuki Machiya
Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Pref.
A Kanazawa machiya built in the Meiji era (1902) that used to be a confectionery before being turned into a guest house in recent years. This machiya is within walking distance to the Higashi Chaya District, a teahouse district dotted with a number of geisha houses, and it is only a 15 min bus ride from JR Kanazawa station. Currently it has two entrances to accompany two groups of guests, but you can also choose to turn it into a vacation house or a monthly rental property.
