Iburihashimachi Kominka

A historical late Edo period Kominka that is registered as a tangible cultural property of Japan. The oldest building (main house) was built back in 1814 by the Hashimoto family with more than 400 years of history. Most paintings on the Fusuma slides were drawn by Kimura Kyoen, a Japanese painter active from Taisho to early Showa period. Iburihashimachi used to be a prospered post town back in Edo period. It is also an area where you can reach the famous Kaga onsen towns (Yamashita, Katayamazu, Awazu) with a 10 minutes drive.
