Hongo Minka
Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Pref.
Mt. Tsukuba, which rises high in the northeast of the Kanto Plain, has been admired as a famous mountain since ancient times because of its beautiful and unique shape. This Minka on top of a branch of the mountain is likewise rare in that it offers a panoramic view of the Tokyo metropolitan area. Because it is in the mountains, it is blessed with nature and has a great view, making it a good choice for those who like astronomical observation and night views. It is also well-equipped with housing facilities, so it can be used as both a vacation home and a residence. At the foot of the property is Kasumigaura, the second largest lake in Japan, and the city of Tsuchiura, which flourished as a strategic point along the shores of the lake, offering the convenience of a city. Both central Tokyo and Narita International Airport are just over an hour away by car.
