Ei Kominka
Awaji City, Hyogo Pref.
The appearance from the front entrance is that of a pure two-story Machiya, but this is a unique Kominka with a one-story Japanese-style house attached to the right side. Awaji Island, which divides the Seto Inland Sea and Osaka Bay, is a historically significant island that connects Honshu and Shikoku, known for its gentle seas and terraced rice fields. Due to the recent spread of remote work and the relocation of major corporate headquarters, Awaji Island has been gaining attention as a popular destination for relocation. The property retains much of its traditional style with a large plot and many rooms. Best of all, a beautiful beach is just right outside of the house.
